No bank payment challens with allotment order , Due to the high court order on fee reimbursement scheme, APSCHE officials have not announced the admission and fee remission dates for students.
No aspirants for MCA course in Andhra Pradesh after first phase counselling more then 60% of convener quota seats in MCA colleges remaining vacant. Total 34,451 MCA seats in this year, 21,347 seats are still vacant now. Number of vacant seats in the MCA colleges have doubled this year as only 11,000 seats were left vacant at the end of counselling last year. There are a very few takers for BCA at graduation level. And most of the BCA takers are currently opting for higher studies in other subjects including MBA.
Private MCA college managements are worried that many of their institutions will have to shut their shop if the trend continues. This year total 1,50,950 students, who qualified in Icet, only 60,214 students came for certificate verification and 59,456 students placed their college choices in web counselling.
In MBA colleges also number of seats left vacants is 8,483. Out of a total of 52,588 MBA seats, 44,105 seats were filled by students. With the state government deciding to appeal against the high court order on fee reimbursement scheme.
