Fee reimbursement scheme GO on guidelines issued...
Andhra Pradesh state government on 08-09-2010 declared some new
rules for students who wanting to avail the fee reimbursement scheme
and post metric scholarship scheme from this 2010 academic year. Only
students admitted under the convener's would be eligible for the
reimbursement. Tuition fee would be disbursed in two installments and
maintenance charges in four installments, all through online banking.
In respect of medical colleges, the scheme would be applicable to the
‘B' category only in respect of SC and ST students.
*A minimum attendance of 75% and it mandatory for students to get promoted to the higher class by securing pass marks to avail the schemes.
*Students who take admissions through counselling in convener quota will only be eligible for the schemes and there will be no benefits to students who take admissions in spot admissions for leftover seats after counselling.
*All students from BC, SC, ST, EBC, minorities and PH categories with an annual family income limit of 100000 are eligible for the scheme.
*To self-financed courses for which the fees are fixed 20,000 per annum has been removed and the full fee will be reimbursed from this academic year 2009-10.
*All colleges have to display the course wise fees reimbursed by the government on the college notice board or the college website. These fee particulars must be made available at the time of admissions so the students are aware of the fee structure. The entire fee reimbursement scheme has been made online.
Students need to submit online applications and the scholarship amount would be directly credited into the accounts of students. Students would have to apply online on the e-Pass website that would be made more user-friendly. All the colleges affiliated to regular universities would also have to register on the e-Pass and furnish details of courses offered by them.
