Ganesha drive aimed at creating awareness on celebrating the festival
in an eco-friendly way. 92.7 Big FM launched the ‘Green Ganesha' drive
in the vizag city to promote an eco-friendly way of celebrating
Vinayaka Chavithi. In association with CMR Central, 92.7 BIG FM will
install a big paper Ganesha at Dwarkanagar from September 11 to 19.
“Newspapers will be collected by the BIG FM RJs every day from
different areas of the city and supplied to the artiste Appalraju for
making the Ganesha. The collection drive be done across the city, that
will go into the making of Vizag's first eco-friendly Ganesha.
During the festival, BIG FM RJ's will visit the eco friendly pandals of Vizag for the ‘RAMKY best eco-friendly pandal award. This is the first year that 92.7 BIG FM has supported the cause of an eco friendly Ganesha made of paper. Apart involving the people to be a part in the making of Ganesha through their donation, this year 92.7 Big FM intend to distribute eco- friendly idols of Ganesha to spread the message to the public.
